Sandee Kensinger, Medford Sports Hall of FameSandee Kensinger graduated from Southern Oregon in 1982 where he played baseball from 1979-81, earning All-Evergreen Conference and Most Valuable Defensive player in 1980-81. From 1982-85, Sandee was head softball coach at SOSC for one year and head coach at Rogue River High and Ashland High for one year each. While the assistant baseball coach at Eagle Point, Sandee began teaching and coaching at Hedrick Middle School. In 1990 Coach K took over the reins of the Medford Mustangs Baseball program.

Hedrick Middle School

  • 1984 to present: football coach 26 years; wrestling coach 22 years; basketball coach 27 years; North Medford JV and Varsity Asst. 22 years

Medford Mustangs

  • 18 years as head coach, 5 assistant; 7 time State Champions, 5 time runner up; 3 time Northwest Regional Champions, 1 time runner up; 3 time World Series appearances, 2 time 2nd place; Oregon AAA Coach of the Year (92, 97, 09); USA Baseball Coach of the Year- 1997; 2001-2012 Asst. American Legion Coach at USA Baseball Tournament of Stars; 2013- will be Head Coach of the Tournament taking over duties of ID/recruitment as well.
