Rob Folsom, Medford Sports Hall of Fame Background:

Rob was raised in Medford. He attended North Medford High School where he was a superb multi-sport athlete in wrestling, football, and baseball. Rob moved to Oregon State where he played baseball. He met his wife Ashley, a soccer player for the Beavers.  Rob lives in Southern Oregon and is in medical equipment sales.

Accomplishments:

  • 4-year letterman in 3 sports: football, baseball, wrestling
  • District champion as sophomore, junior, senior in wrestling
  • State finalist as a junior and senior
  • All-Conference linebacker and running back
  • Second team All-State offense
  • First team All-State defense
  • Baseball 4-year letterman
  • 1st team All-Conference catcher 2001-2004
  • 2nd team All-State as sophomore
  • 1st team All-State as a junior and senior
  • SOC Player of the Year as a junior and senior
  • Nominated for Oregon sports award 2004.
  • Played in American Legion World Series
  • Oregon State baseball 2005 freshman
  • Played in college World Series 2005
  • Oregon State baseball in 2008-2010
