“Any accomplishments that I made as tennis coach were due to 163 girls who played on the Medford High School team at sometime during the first 20 years of girl’s tennis.

“The girls won 200 dual matches, lost 14, and tied 10 while also winning 17 district tournaments and 2 state championships.

“Much of the success of the team was due to the teaching done by the summer recreation program and the help of the adult tennis players in the community.” – Pat Mounts.
