Brett Wolfe, Medford Sports Hall of FameBackground:

Raised by parents, Tom and Jackie Jones and Dwane Wolfe, Brett played baseball in Little League, Babe Ruth, North Medford High School and American Legion in Medford.  Brett’s coaching career began in 1987 at North Medford High School, becoming head coach in 1995 through 2019.  His wife, Kim, has supported him throughout his career.  His son, Hayden and daughter Amanda, won state titles in North Medford in baseball and softball, respectively.  Brett retired from teaching but continues to coach and volunteer his time helping kids with the great game of baseball.

Accomplishments:

  • His teams at North Medford won 9 conference championships. 2 State titles, (2007, 2014), and State runner-up in 2000.
  • As head coach at North Medford his record was 494-198.
  • Selected as League Coach of the Year, State Coach of the Year, Regional Coach of the Year, and head coach of the State/Metro All-Star series, while leading his team to the State playoffs 24 pf 25 years as a head coach.
  • Developed youth baseball in diversifying single A legion baseball in Medford and surrounding area, as well as developing junior State baseball, and the creation of middle school baseball in and around the Southern part of the state.
  • Coached American Legion-Single A baseball winning 5 state championships and five regionals appearances and one regional runner-up.
  • Selected 5 times as single A Legion Coach of the Year.
  • Developed the North Medford baseball field into one of the best high school baseball facilities in the state, thanks to the great start from Jim McAbee and crew.
