Robert E. Korth, Medford Sports Hall of FameBob, of the Medford Bowling Association, is a 32-year veteran of the lanes with a 203 average at Medford Bowling Lanes and a 200 average at Roxy Ann Lanes. A quote from the 1983 Bowling Digest says: “Korth Could Be His Own Doubles Partner. “The catch is that his 203 average was set as a righthander with the 200 average set as a lefthander. He was the first bowler on record to average 200 with both right and left hands in the same season.  He is a natural lefty for most other sports, playing golf and baseball as a lefthander.

Bob holds the high series record in Medford with a series of 844 and in Ashland with a series of 834. With his right hand he has rolled 8 perfect games of “300”. On record in the Lifetime A.B.C. record book is his 5 – 800 game series.  He also holds the record for All Events in the Oregon State Tournament of 1976 with a 9-game total of 2187 (a 243 average). He was the only person to win the Singles, Doubles, Team, and All Events titles in the same year, and was a member of the team holding the state record for Team Series.

Bob finished second place in the American Bowling Congress National Tournament, has won 3 Oregon Bowling Association titles, including the Medford Open, and has numerous other northwest titles to his credit.
